Koli Forum on Natural Resources brings together European leaders

The Koli Forum is a forward-looking, informal discussion platform for invited European leaders on economics and the sustainable use of natural resources. The Forum takes place in the Koli National Park in Eastern Finland every two years.

The Forum provides new survival knowledge and sets out perspectives for constructive public discussion over the years to come. The Forum aims to formulate new, long-term solutions for the management of natural resources – the Theses of Koli - serving to influence the decision-makers who shape our common future.

The first Koli Forum "On Natural Resources - Solutions to Questions of Renewable Energy and the Mitigation of Climate Change" will take place from 22-24 October 2009.

EFI is one of the partners of  the Forum, and responsible for the contents of the theme "Top priorities for policy making"
