Bioeconomy and the Role of Forests

Barcelona BioEconomy Forum is a policy-oriented but science-based solution-seeking platform, bringing together top-level company leaders with policy makers, scientists and other opinion leaders to discuss issues involved in creating a sustainable bioeconomy. The ambition is to inform action and motivate leaders to step up to the challenge of accelerating a transition to a sustainable society. The Forum will consider the bioeconomy from a global perspective, but with a particular focus on the Mediterranean context.

Barcelona BioEco 2014 will take place at Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site in Barcelona on 27-29 November. EFI's Mediterranean Regional Office - EFIMED is co-organising the event with Sant Pau, ICTA, CTFC, and the Catalonian Generalitat following the participation of a high-level delegation from Catalonia at KoliForum 2013.

You can follow preparations for the event on Twitter  and Facebook
