Thinking out of the box – advocating FLEGT and REDD+ topics into the wider picture of governance research

EFI is progressing with the development of the Forest Governance Research Agenda. The aim is to identify and promote research topics and issues pertinent to FLEGT and REDD+ within the wider context of forest governance. This activity is in line with EFI's research advocacy function and is complementary to our cooperation with Forest-Based Sector Technology Platform (FTP), and its’ development of new strategic research agenda. EFI is coordinating the effort, with the lead of Jo Van Brusselen, but for its development we rely on EFI Associate and Affiliate Members, FLEGT and REDD+ stakeholders and international peer organisations.
