New EFI Policy Brief looks at the challenges of adaptive forest management

The new EFI Policy Brief “Climate Change in European Forests: How to Adapt” describes proactive and reactive management styles and illustrates how they have been used in different regions of Europe. The case study areas are selected from those of a FP7 funded research project MOTIVE (Models for Adaptive Forest Management).

EFI Policy Brief 9. Climate Change in European Forests: How to Adapt by Joanne Fitzgerald, Jette Bredahl Jacobsen, Kristina Blennow, Bo Jellesmark Thorsen and Marcus Lindner is available here.

The MOTIVE project is supported by the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme under agreement number 226544. Visit the project website at www.motive-project.net for further information.
