IUFRO 9.05 International Seminar “Assessing Forest Governance in a Context of Change” to be held in  May 9 -11, 2012. Venue: Hotel Hollywood, Dr. Pintola 23. Ilidža, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Division 9 Forest Policy and Economics is the newest research network in the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO). This first All Division 9 Conference in Sarajevo is expected to strengthen the relationships within and across the Research Groups and Working Parties active in Division 9.The plenary sessions will contribute to developing an overall framework and shared identity for Division 9. Furthermore, the importance of social science in IUFRO and how Division 9 can contribute to the new cross-disciplinary Task Forces will be a special focus of this conference.
