Work to support the EU Forestry Strategy
The Standing Forestry Committee decided to set up an ad hoc working group to exchange views about the future EU Forestry Strategy, following the opinion expressed in the 118th meeting on 18 February 2011. EFI (Marc PalahÃ) was invited to be part of this working group, to represent the forest research community in Europe. As a contribution to the working group, EFI has prepared a paper detailing its vision for a European forest research area as a core pillar for the future EU Forestry Strategy.
