French member organisations pleased with ongoing EFI developments

“The new strategy positions EFI closer to society and its demands”, says Dr Jean-Luc Peyron from ECOFOR, one of EFI’s long-term member organisations.

During their recent visit in Paris, EFI Director Marc Palahí and Assistant Director Lauri Hetemäki met with EFI’s French member organisations to discuss the new strategy and its implications to future research activities. The member organisations were pleased to hear that EFI is also looking into new ways for interacting with its membership and as well as offering new modes of support for scientists.

The EFI Directors also met Mari Kiviniemi, Deputy Secretary-General of OECD, to discuss possible future collaborations.
