EFI was a partner in this shared-cost project under the Environment and Climate Programme. The aim of the SAFE project was to consider the cost-benefits of a Synthetic Aperture Radar mission designed specifically to satisfy the information requirements of the European agriculture and forestry communities. EFI was responsible for identifying and prioritising the requirements of users of forestry information.
