The Xyloweb-project aimed to bring together information on ongoing forecasting activities in the maritime pine area of Aquitaine, France. The work was based on a forecasting exercise carried out by the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) in 2010 following the storm Klaus and on the work carried out within the INTEGRAL-project which looked at the future oriented management of European forest landscapes.

One of the project’s main outcomes was a website demonstrating the benefit of forecasting activities.

This project was funded by the Regional Council of Aquitaine.
